Each one of these propagules is much smaller in size and morphology than the rod or pencil like Rhizophera and Bruguiera species propagules. The tubes being considered would be the same for each species except being either 3cm or 2cm in diameter, but for Avicennia and Sonneratia weighted conical caps are being considered so that these can penetrate the mud and remain in situ.
