Led by the University of Greenwich

Privacy

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and how it is handled under UK data protection law.

Who we are

ManRADS is a research project led by the University of Greenwich, which is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation, subject, and message you provide. We collect this only when you choose to send it.

Why we collect it

We use the details you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about collaboration or partnership. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell or share them.

Legal basis

Under UK GDPR, our basis for processing contact-form data is your consent when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about the project.

How your data is stored

This site is hosted on WordPress.com, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Data is held securely and kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to our processing it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies

This site uses only the functional cookies needed for it to work. If analytics or other tracking is added later, this policy will be updated and, where required, a cookie consent notice will be shown.

Contact

For any question about your data, please use the contact page.

This policy is a working draft. It will be finalised with the University of Greenwich data protection team once the contact form and hosting configuration are confirmed.
